Family Founded n Grounded
Choosing to bring who we are, where we've been, what we love, what we have; to where we are and beyond.
We are a new Livingston based artisan bakery and coffee roastery. We desire to be a positive contribution to our Livingston area community by delivering fresh high quality hand-made products directly to you. We occasionally 'pop-up' in a cafe form too.
We are Nathalie, Murray, Rebecca & Madelyn. After 25 years in Northern California we recently return to our homeland with a dream of providing a more empathetically oriented future for our intellectually disabled daughter (Madelyn) and a more integrated extended family life for us all.
Nathalie trained as a pastry chef and baker in San Francisco and sold her sourdough and baked goods throughout various Bay Area farmer's markets. After being in involved in Silicon Valley's Hi-Tech sector, Murray has in recent years trained professionally as a Coffee Roaster and Barista.
Our vision is to eventually establish a Bakery/Coffee Shop in our local community, but frankly we've found that a frustrating challenge with limited available local suitable retail property, issues with local planning policy, the pandemic etc. If you know of somewhere we could potentially locate (or pop up in cafe form) please don't hesitate to contact us.
Meanwhile, we decided to bring our goods directly to you instead ..it's been a whole lot of fun (and work) !

Hand-delivered via bicycle (weather permitting) in Livingston and immediate surrounding areas (East/West/Mid Calder/Uphall etc). Now also delivering to Broxburn & Bathgate.
We have a growing set of wholesale customers at Restaurants, Farm Shops, Bike Shops etc - contact us for pricing etc.
...and with our shift to the new Shopify platform we're just getting going with Subscriptions, gifts/accessories and Coffee Mail Order.
Easter 2022 - Our 'Ptarmivagon' a converted horsebox started serving at the beautiful Drummond Castle Gardens, Crieff. So fun to meet and serve our coffee and treats to visitors from near and far.
Summer 2022 - moved a wagon into the inner courtyard at Drummond Castle Gardens and our horsebox to Bennybeg Crieff. Enjoying meeting Bennybeg Plant Centre customers from all over Perthshire, Dog Walkers on the nature filled local trail loop and visiting Bennybeg Crag Climbers from all over Scotland, tourists and an ever increasing set of repeat local customers - thank you all !
Then we moved/popped up in the adjacent former Crieff Ceramics Pottery Building/Cafe.
October 2022: The Bennybeg Plant Centre Christmas Shop co locates.
